July and August Summer Break

During the summer the Education and Libraries CSP helped set up the
Little Free Library at the Arts Center with donations from Friday Night Live!
Next to the Arts building, you can see flowers and a huge zucchini vine(?).
The Environment CSP cleaned up the area earlier in February where the
plants are now showing off.

A few members took  a break to catch up in July
at the Breeze.  It is always fun to have a casual get
together.  A brief rain shower made it more
pleasant to sit outdoors.

March Women History Month

Health and Wellness has become increasingly aware of essential needs within the local community for feminine hygiene products.  This month
we would like to honor Gertrude Tendrich who bought the patent
rights for the Tampax trademark in 1933.  She was born in
Germany in 1890 and died in 1957 and buried in Denver, CO.

Members are collecting Feminine Hygiene Products and donations to benefit Embry Rucker Shelter and Cornerstones Food Pantry.
Please help us fill this need, by making a donation by check to:
Herndon Woman's Club, P. O. Box 231, Herndon, VA 20172
