The selected non-profit this year will be Second Story. Second Story is an organization based in Northern Virginia that serves youth experiencing homelessness or another crisis, and young mothers and their children from across the Washington, D.C. region.
Second Story includes residential programs, emergency homes for teens, and a crisis hotline. They help families in under-served communities in Fairfax County through family resource centers, a teen center, and after-school programs. For more information, click the link below" second-story.org |
