MONTHLY MEETING MAY

Did you know? May Day was Lei Day in Hawaii. Perhaps the reason this came to mind was that many years ago I found Hawaii to be an AMAZING place. It was so wonderful to wake up every morning to a day more beautiful than the previous day. At each monthly meeting, it is AMAZING to hear members share the success of planned events that have taken place this year.

Members are looking forward to the installation dinner in June as the current Executive Board will pass the torch to the newly elected officers. There are no meetings in July and August, but the members will be active. You may see HWC members helping out at Friday Night Live, selling T-shirts at the Herndon Festival, or making plans for other upcoming events and activities as well as fundraising events. Herndon Woman’s Club members continue to bring ideas and energy to the club, and work together to achieve these goals throughout the year.
